YOUR OPPORTUNITY

The Interior Designer II will work directly with the Director of Interiors to create cohesive and elegant environments for a variety of market sectors. As a Designer you will collaborate / coordinate with project teams while receiving feedback from the Director of Interior Design and the Principals.

In this role - the Interior Designer II will have the opportunity to enhance expertise and further career goals.

 

Our Interior Design Director has a passion for biophilia, detailed design and creating open environments that promote innovation.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate tasks requested by the Director of Interiors, Architects, and Consultants

  • Document and communicate project information

  • Develop digital 3D presentation materials

  • Coordinate material finishes and selections

  • Detail specifications and various materials selected

  • Develop space planning ideas

  • Undertake job related research

  • Maintain materials library

  • Participate in Construction phase to direct deliverables and timetable

  • Research project requirements and client budget needs

  • Work independently

  • Participate in networking events

  • All additional tasks beyond this list assigned by Director

EDUCATION – EXPERIENCE

  • 3-5 years’ experience in A/E firm

  • Bachelor of Interior Design from an Accredited school

  • The candidate should have their NCIDQ certification or willingness to obtain

  • Experienced with Autodesk-Integrated BIM Tools, including Revit

  • 3D visualization and animation skills plus other drafting and presentation tools such as Photoshop, Sketch-up, Adobe Creative Suite Products, Microsoft Suite

  • Exceptional attention to detail, highly organized, efficient work execution

  • Ability to successfully engage in client communication and detailed documentation.

  • Time management and excellent listening skills

  • Must be able to sit and stand for longer periods of time.  Must be able to lift over 20 pounds independently
