Proposed North Campus
Neighborhood
CLEVELAND STATE UNIVERSITY
A mixed use of residential and commercial buildings blended into the urban fabric, was proposed for the North Campus Neighborhood at Cleveland State University. The new development was aimed to turn existing commuter parking lots into a vibrant residential area for students, teachers and the City of Cleveland. Made up of three city blocks, the mixed-use community was to include private residences, a baseball field, multiple parking garages, and approximately 40,000 square feet of retail, which would be closely linked with the University. The project is currently awaiting funding.
