MCF Announces New Leadership

Timothy L. Powers, AIA is the new President of MCF.  The announcement is a part of our strategic leadership transition plan.  Tim’s focus will be to continue MCF’s 129-year legacy of design excellence, enduring architecture and client service.  In addition, Tim will lead MCF’s Health & Wellness Practice with his 30+ years of healthcare architecture experience.

 

Kenneth K. Lee, AIA has announced his scheduled retirement after 45 successful years with MCF.  Ken will remain at the firm as CEO through the end of 2018, to ensure a seamless transition for the firm and for his projects.

Alan Hohlfelder, AIA will transition to MCF’s Vice President, after 23 years as Corporate Treasurer.  Alan brings decades of project and firm management experience to the VP role, and will be instrumental in continuing the firm’s growth in the Higher Education and Performing Arts markets.  Alan also leads the firm’s efforts in sustainable design.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Bill Szymczak, RA with over 34 years service at MCF, will continue as a Principal and Corporate Secretary.  Bill will continue to manage some of MCF’s most significant higher education and healthcare projects, and guide the integration of design/documentation technology into the firm’s practice.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

John M. Evans, AIA was named MCF’s newest Principal and Corporate Treasurer.  John will assist in the day-to-day management of the practice and several key projects, while also leading MCF’s work in Historic Preservation and Adaptive Use.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The firm’s Principals, along with the other members of MCF’s Board of Directors – Benjamin T. Wetmore,  Robert R. Russ, and Steven Szczepanski – look forward to working with Tim to continue MCF’s 129-year legacy of design excellence, enduring architecture and client service.
